FAQ:

What are fresh hops?

Hops are one of the signature ingredients in beer, used to both flavor and preserve. Hops themselves are small and leafy cone-like flowers that are typically harvested once a year, dried for storage, and then processed into pellets for brewing. Fresh hops are those freshly picked cones before they have been processed in any way. They can impart extra flavorful and potent fresh green, grassy, bright and oily floral, citrusy and spiciness to beers that would be hard to capture any other way. Since hops are harvested for only one month of the year, these beers are extremely limited.

How much is this festival?

The festival is pay as you go, it is really more of a fresh hop beer garden and food truck pod than a festival. There are no tickets, special cups, or wristbands, just awesome beer and food! Beer prices will vary by the glass or pint.
